OLIN J BAKER

Olin J. Baker (Senior Partner) is a graduate of the Nashville School of Law, where he earned academic accolades.  Having thereafter spent time working for the Davidson County Public Defender's office, Mr. Baker is now utilizing those skills and offers his clients top tier criminal defense work throughout the mid-state. 

In addition to Mr. Baker's criminal law practice, he also handles high profile personal injury cases and some family and domestic law matters. 

Immediately preceding Mr. Baker's law practice, he served as a chemist for Rhone-Poulenc, Inc., where he handled emergency management and chemical neutralizations. 

Such experience causes Mr. Baker to be an ideal attorney for individuals or corporations in the business of bio-tech, engineering or science. 

Mr. Baker is licensed to practice law in Tennessee and in Federal Middle District Court of Tennessee, and is a member of the Tennessee and Dickson County Bar Associations.


Neil Barnes

Neil brings a wealth of experience from both the public and private sector. As an Intelligence Officer in the United State Air Force, Neil played a crucial role in the initial planning and execution of Operation Enduring Freedom’s heavy bombardment of Afghanistan in the days directly following September 11th, 2001.

He later worked closely with several national intelligence agencies advocating for training, equipment, and budgetary needs of Air Force intelligence units.

Neil has also spent 8 years with CarMax, a “Fortune 500” company and "Fortune Top 100 Places to Work For." His primary responsibilities included making purchasing and financial decisions for a $140 million per year business.

He has also spent five years as the C.E.O of ABC Services, LLC, Nashville’s foremost provider of Applied Behavior Analysis therapy for kids with autism.

Neil is a graduate of the Nashville School of Law where he earned a Doctor of Jurisprudence. His practice is focused in the areas of estate planning, probate, real estate, and general civil litigation. Neil is also a Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 31 Listed General Civil Mediator.


mark atchison

Mark Atchison is licensed in the middle federal district court TN. He grew up in Dickson, Tennessee, and attended Dickson County High School. While attending Austin Peay State University, for his undergraduate studies, Mark worked as a store manager for Food Lion, LLC.  After graduating from Austin Peay, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice, Mark began his law enforcement career with the Dickson County Sheriff’s Office in 2005.  After nine years of law enforcement, Mark attended law school at the Nashville School of Law.  During law school, Mark was the recipient of the Blevins Family scholarship, the P. Cooper scholarship, and the Trustee & Faculty scholarship for academic excellence and community involvement. After graduating from the Nashville School of Law in May of 2018, Mark began working full-time at Baker Law Group, PLLC as a law clerk. 

Upon successful completion of the Bar Exam in February of 2019, Mark transitioned into his new role as an attorney at Baker Law Group, PLLC.  Mark and his wife, Tracy are the proud parents of two wonderful children, Mia and Hudson.

 

 

LEE SPRATT

Mr. Spratt joined Baker Law Group in 2019. He is a 2015 graduate of the Nashville School of Law, and was licensed to practice law in the State of Tennessee in 2016. The majority of Mr. Spratt’s focus is Criminal Defense, as well as Domestic Relations and Civil Litigation.

Prior to joining Baker Law Group, Mr. Spratt was in private practice in the 23rd Judicial District, in Dickson and Humphreys Counties.  He has handled Criminal cases ranging from Misdemeanor driving charges to First Degree Murder, and Domestic Relations cases ranging from highly contested divorce cases to defense and prosecution of termination of parental rights cases, to simple name changes. He has also litigated property damage cases, contractual disputes and Personal Injury cases.

Mr. Spratt was recognized as an Attorney for Justice by the Tennessee Supreme Court for the years 2016, 2017 and 2018.  He has also been chosen to sit as Special Judge in Dickson Municipal Court.

Mr. Spratt believes in representing his clients zealously, against any and all odds, to achieve a fair and just result.


 

TAMMY HASSELL

Tammy L. Hassell is an attorney in our Charlotte, Tennessee office of the Baker Law Group, PLLC. She is a 2013 graduate of the Nashville School of Law.

Prior to law school, she attended Austin Peay State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science with a concentration in Legal Studies and a minor in Psychology.

While at Austin Peay, Tammy had the honor of helping many children in Montgomery County and surrounding communities through the outreach programs of Gamma Beta Phi. Tammy served as both President and Vice President of Gamma Beta Phi, during her time at Austin Peay.

Tammy grew up in Dickson Tennessee, graduating from Dickson County High School. Tammy is engaged in the general practice of law, focusing primarily on civil litigation. 

Her primary focus of practice includes probate, family and domestic law (divorce, custody, dependency and neglect actions and juvenile) and debt collection.  Tammy is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association and the Dickson Bar Association


 

LORINDA HALSTEAD

Lorinda K. Halstead is a legal assistant in our Charlotte, Tennessee office.  Lorinda joined our team in 2016.   

Lorinda grew up in Hickman County, Tennessee and graduated from Hickman County High School.  She later attended Tennessee Technology Center (now known as Tennessee College of Applied Technology) in Nashville, Tennessee and obtained her Legal and Medical Secretary diplomas.  Lorinda is a Notary Public for the State of Tennessee.

thomas j. Hendrickson, III, Esq.

Thomas J. (Jeff) Hendrickson III- is an academic scholarship graduate of the Thurgood Marshall School of Law in Houston, Texas. 

A native Tennessean, upon graduation, he relocated back to the mid-state to begin his general civil litigation law practice.  Prior to the practice of law, Jeff was a successful small business owner, broker and distinguished entrepreneur. 

He has an innate ability to utilize not only the academic lessons learned through law school and his practice, but also negotiation and management skills earned through his prior corporate and business successes. 

Specifically, Jeff handles cases involving automotive dealer and consumer affairs, personal injury cases, landlord-tenant matters, family law cases and torts or "civil wrongs. 

Jeff is admitted to practice law in Tennessee and in the Middle and Eastern Federal District Courts; he is a member in good standing of the Tennessee Bar Association, was an officer for the student American Trial Lawyers Association, is a volunteer for Big Brothers, Big Sisters and is a member of Christ Presbyterian Church.

Jeff lives in Bellevue, Tennessee with his wife Ellen, and two children, Kyra and Charlene.

Angela tyrone

Angela Tyrone is a Paralegal in our Nashville, Tennessee office of Baker Law Group, PLLC. She has been with the firm since September of 2010. Angela has extensive knowledge and experience in the handling of personal injury claims, both pre-litigation and litigation. She is a notary public for the State of Tennessee.

Angela grew up in Waverly, Tennessee and graduated from Torrington High School. She later attended Draughon’s Junior College, now Daymar College, and obtained an Associate of Applied Science degree in Paralegal Studies. Angela is now raising her children in Dickson, Tennessee.

Amanda chester

Amanda Chester is a paralegal in our Nashville, Tennessee Office. Amanda joined our team in November of 2016. She has extensive knowledge and experience in pre-litigation and litigation.

Amanda grew up in Dickson County, Tennessee and graduated from Creekwood High School in Charlotte, Tennessee. She later attended MedVance Technical College (now known as Fortis Institute) in Nashville and obtained her diploma in Medical Office Administration.

Amanda is a mother of two children. She has worked as a CNA prior to becoming a paralegal. She is also a Notary Public for the State of Tennessee.
